What YouTube download software would you recommend?

I want to store some 1 hour YouTube lectures onto my laptop so I can watch them at work and be able to keep referring to them without going back to YouTube itself.

Something that does not infect my laptop with adware, toolbars restrictions or any such ****, and if possible download them in faster that real time?

A quick search finds many, like tube2file etc, but has anyone got something they use and recommend?

I tried a few about a year ago or something and gave up. So it would be good if someone has one that works :)

Install Firefox then install this add-on

Thank you, both worked.
Video downloadhelper slower and asks for money to make a rats ass at conversion, but with a separate flv player its just fine.
YouTube downloader was fine but did not keep the filename, so stuck with the first one.

Quick and simple online tool - http://saveyoutube.com

Gives you the files YouTube uses, would need a separate program if you need to convert them into another format but otherwise just use VLC or similar to play them.

Really? I've never been asked for money, but then I've never done anything more than a straight download with it, and I used VLC before I started using it anyway, so I had no problem opening flv files
