Recommedation for new tyres around Cardiff

Hi all

I want to replace both tyres on the SV. Can anyone recommend a ride in ride out that either supplies and fits or one who will just fit them if I supply?

There is a 'mystery choice' but you'll have to check it out. Actually there's two. I've previously used a mobile fitter. Got tyres myself and he fit them. You just get the bike up and the wheels off. He will literally change them in front of your house, balance them etc for £20 for the pair. Then you put the wheels back on and make sure chain is adjusted correctly. The real mystery option is around the corner from me. I was gonna use them before I found the mobile guy and they said they could supply and fit. They've got a workshop from what I can see so should be ride in and out. But, never used them and don't know prices.

SW superbikes are competitive so may go with them. Thinking of pilot power 2 CT at £245 fitted ride in ride out.

I had my tyres fitted for me by Home Fit Tyres.

He was about that price and came to me to fit them.

His name is Ioan and his number is 07816 339 726

He works are GEAES on Nantgawr, so, he can fit in Cardiff

This is who DC tyres are passing their work on to now. I did call him a few times but there was no response.

That's odd, I got him to mend a puncture in the back and fit a new front on Monday.

If I can't get hold of him, he normally rings me back and you should also get the chance to leave a message when you ring him on the mobile.

His wife is on the Newport number normally, as he's out fitting.

She must have been out, when you rang?

Got hold of Mg today but sadly he was more expensive than SW Superbikes for the 2CTs fitted.

Anyway, call made and fitting arranged! Cheaper by £10 and he comes to me. Ideal.

That is alright dude, I used him three times while I was in Wales, he was cheaper every time.

Wow. What a fantastic guy Ioan turned out to be. Took his time, showed me how to take the wheels off and refit. Greased all the bolts etc.

Would definately recommend.

Well, do as I do, anytime anyone asks for someone to change tyres send him to Ioan, he is top quality.

Shame he won't drive the 600 mile round trip to do my tyre now... Ha ha
