Its mostly standard apart from a few small changes such as a tail tidy, carbon can co exhaust, gold fairing bolt kit and polished wheels (which are proving to be a challenge with the weather)
Thanks for looking

very nice for a curvy, i think yours would be the only working one on here, if not the world
very rare and by the looks of it a very clean example. in fact it looks like it has just come out a showroom, it can't have that many miles on it.
It has covered a whopping 24000km which is roughly only around 15000 miles.
I think i fell lucky when i bought it as i got it for what i would consider a bargain as it was by far the cheapest SV around at the time, and i am yet to see another 400 for sale any where?
its got 15000 miles on it. no fekin way. you or the last owner must have OCD and a cleaning one at that.
Haha, id like to take all the credit for it but it was stupidly clean when i bought it, im just trying my best to keep it this way now!

Can someone highlight the main differences between these and the the 650s? I am not familiar. (Apart from a smaller engine ;) )
Looking very nice though Nick, seems like you've bagged yourself a winner there! :)
From what i have managed to find out they are basically the same bike but as you said its got a smaller engine, single front disk and i believe i have read somewhere that the 400 revs higher than the 650 but i could be wrong?

Hello. Fantastic looking bike you've got there! I used to have an SV400 before I got the 650. Cracking first bike! Other than the single front disk, engine size and lack of a proper grab handle there isn't much in them I don't think. Although the later models had a twin front disk I think.
Rob
A credit to you mate and of course the previous owner.

The later ones had the 650 front end.
I wish I picked the one that come up around here last year (Light blue naked- single disc)

I got my clear light lense fitted today along with led brake bulbs, really happy with the outcome and looks brill when running as it looks like two single lights.

Nice that  Few nice corners should sort out the flat spot on that rear tyre ;) might just be my old eyes though :)
i had another parcel waiting for me today!
The carbon Can Co exhaust was a bit plain looking for me so after much thought decided on this one.

Got my tinted screen on today, nice and subtle not too over the top, also should have sorted some lower fairings which i should hopefully be picking up at the weekend :)
My lower fairings are now fitted, took a while to get the brackets all lined up but they make such a difference compared to just the bellypan!
