The time has come for me to sell my bike.
It's a 2004 GSXR750 with just over 10k on the clock.
MOT until 5th May 2012, Taxed until 31/05/12.
It's in great condition and I am only selling as I wont have the chance to use it this summer and from my wallets point of view I think it's best to sell it.
I've owned the bike for two years and bought it with ~3500 miles on it. The bike was bought to replace my K3 SV650S. Many people say this is the best sports bike on the road and out of the many sports 600s and litre bikes I have ridden, I have to say I agree with that.
Mods:
- Dark tint double-bubble screen - makes all the difference on the motorway
- 'Fuel' exhaust can with removable baffle (sounds great with the baffle out. Not pictured but I will take some pictures of this, it will pass an MOT test with the baffle in)
- Genuine carbon hugger made by Pyramid - really helps to keep the underside of the tail clean
- Tail tidy - as you can see this removes the massive bit of ugly plastic which the numberplate and indicators mount onto and makes the bike look loads better.
- Crash bobbins - protect the fairing in a low speed spill.
- Paddock stand bobbins
- Fenda' Extenda' - keeps the exhaust headers cleaner and free from road debris.
- Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tyres front and rear put on at 5100 miles. Vastly superiour to the stock Bridgestones fitted when I bought it. The bike really does fall into the corners now and there is plenty of life left in them despite having covered 5k miles!
- Gear indicator - I thought this was a bit of a waste of space before I started riding, but it's surprising how much I have ended up using it - no more shifting up to seventh!
Supplied with all original parts and comes with matching seat cowl and also a pillion seat + grippy cover.
Bad bits - The front mudguard has a crack in it. This was on the bike when I got it. The previous owned wheeled the bike backwards with a disc lock on the front disc and it hit the mudguard. This is only really visible if your'e looking for it.
Bike is located in Leicestershire. Please ask questions!!
Price: £3650 ono
Many thanks, Jamie.
