Depends entirely on whether I have the KTM back or not. If I do, then I'll definitely be out to play at the weekend. If not, I won't.

And I may have it back tomorrow.

I am going to be riding up to Lechlade in Gloucester on Saturday, may postpone until Sunday if the weather is crap.

The SMT's almost certainly going to still be at the dealer until Monday at the earliest, so I'm out.

Out as in not out, iyswim.

As usual i will not be out
good news though the bike is fixed

Much to my surprise the SMT was declared ready to collect on Friday night, so I picked it up yesterday. To my equal surprise the sky was blue when I got up this morning, so I went out for a ride.

Apart from a couple of brief showers it was mostly fairly bright, so I did a loop via Box Hill and Loomies to check the bike really is fixed. Suffice to say it didn't break down and it did go like stink whenever I asked it to. Hurrah!

Well I did the Pioneer... Got down there early (flipping cold start!) watched the old bikes chuff-chuffing over the line for a bit in the sunshine, had an early lunch and home via a wiggly follow-your-nose round-the-houses route through Hampshire. Was very cold when I got home but missed all the showers - yay!

I didn't mind the showers - I was well goretexed up and it gave me a chance to built some confidence on these manky OEM tyres in the wet. I think I'm starting to get used to the, umm, "interesting" handling.
