Have always used SDoc100 chain lube
A tad expensive but seems to do a great job of lubing & protecting the chain from the elements and has very little fling. 'tis good stuff :-)

Castrol chain wax spray, you can get it from Halfrauds. Best stuff I've used in a while.

Sorry, I'll get my coat.

Used to use Silkolene but it goes everywhere even though it is supposedly non fling. Wurth is the way to go!

Did you deliberately use the phrase "come across" ?

It's only a chain, use any old chain lube stuff, just do it regularly. Why worry?

I'd be very careful of any dry or waxy stuff. It can hide a multitude of sins which can get worse.
