Good people, I am after suggestions, me and GruntyGiggles are off on a last minute week away on the bike from next Friday. We should have being going away in the Land Rover with the dogs but Grunty's parents said they would have the dogs so we can have a week to ourselves.
Being an amazing lass when Grunty told me this she said "Bike Tour!" She's great isn't she.
I just need help with the end of day one really, setting off on Friday 23rd March (next Friday) the first day was over from Wiltshire to Abergavenny, up to Rhyader, through Elan Valley to Aberystwith then over to Welshpool to stay for the night which is 207 miles.
I just got hold of the B&B we use and they are chokka and cannot fit us in, and I only want to go to Welshpool to stay at this place so looking at the map and thinking of going north from Aberystwith but about the same mileage as Welshpool is, so 60ish miles give or take a bit and we need a decent and cheap B&B to stay at that is bike friendly (a place to keep the bike safe)
For example, Dolgellau, Bala, llanrwst, Ffestiniog but I haven't been to these places and have no idea what they are like.
Any ideas?
Thank you .org

You need a ladies hairy private region or a lucky pair of Y fronts!

Don't stay at LLanrwst, town of my childhood and a dump (I'm not joking). Dolgellau has this place http://www.bikers-retreat.com/ which gets good reports...
Or you could come stay with us.... we have beds and showers you know.

Now that just made me chuckle somewhat, lol.
I personally don't really care too much how cheap or not cheap the B&B is, so long as we get somewhere comfy as we both really deserve a good break after a few crappy months.
I will miss the dogs, but going on the bike is too much of a temptation to miss :-)

I'll second Mike on the Bikers' Retreat (http://www.bikers-retreat.com/b.r.home.htm) in Dolgellau. Run by Nige and Tivvy, a smashing couple who are both motorcyclists themselves.
