Powerbronze Carbon front mudguards for Pointies

Just noticed this evening that Powerbronze are selling carbon front mudguards for the pointies for £50 in their clearance section. 4 left at time of this post.

is it real carbon fibre? the pic kinda looks like a lookalike....

Mmmm I would say it is carbon but its hard to judge by their photo. I just got a Carbon mudguard (from ebay - not PB) for a '99 R1 and the weave looks similar but it is gloss smooth! Weighs nothing.

Can't see how they'd get away with advertising it as Carbon Fibre if it wasn't - especially at £150 ish originally. Paid £95 for my R1 guard.
