I'm with Express at the moment, but i think they're just a sister company to Bennets, I got stung last time because A) i'm 22 B) ive been driving a company car for 3 years so my car no claims is only for a year :(. So i'll just have to go compare it at the time.

MCE were painful to deal with then tried to double my policy when it came to renewal time. I ended up threatening to take them to the Financial Ombudsmen unless they updated my reg plate as it hadn't been done 3 months after telling them and numerous calls and emails chasing it. This meant I was showing up on the police computer as uninsured.

Yep, been with MCE for the past 4 years and never had a problem with them....even with claiming etc. They do tend to send out inaccurate documents though so as long as you keep on top of them you will eventually get the correct ones sent to you.
They came out at £380 fully comp for the R1 this year (with mods)....cheaper than any other company by around £600. They have a "no frills" sister company called Wicked bikes who offer basic insurance but I opted for MCE themselves as they offered breakdown, riding other bikes, 90 days abroad, helmet and leather cover and a courtesy bike all in.
In general, don't bother with comparison websites.....give the insurance company you're thinking of going with a call and they will usually beat whatever you're quoted online.

Was with bikesure for past 2 years, but they decided to add 200 quid two what I paid last year (400). So went with MCE 246 quid all extras full comp. And no issues from them so far.
