Can anyone reccomend a good headset for COD? Wouldnt mind a wireless one but they are all like £100 which is a bit too much. So probably looking at a wired one about £50
Do you get ones that plug in the controller or are they all usb?
Cheers
Mine plug in to the controller. To be honest, spend the money and get the turtlebeaches. I bought a cheap set and they hurt my ears!
Edit: These ones I got - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DELUXE-HEADSET-HEADPHONE-MICROPHONE-XBOX-360-LIVE-/270728782428?pt=UK_VideoGames_VideoGameAccessories _VideoGameAccessories_JN&hash=item3f08b1625c

I have one that came with the xbox that plugs into the controller. Dunno where it is though. Don't think they'll be that expensive to get. But then again I nearly died when I saw the wifi connector for the xbox is about 50 quid

Depends on what you want to use it for.
Do you want it for sound or just chat?
If youve got a souround sound set up at home then go for a chat one, if not you can get wired souround sound headphones which are very good for not a lot now (£50 no probs)
Also gives the added bonus of being non intrustive to anyone else in the house or room.

I prefer the one out of the original box, the Microsoft one.
Got a mate with a turtlebeach, it echo's badly and I can't even hear him half the time.

I never use the mic. I just want it to give me the surround effect so I can hear what direction the shooting is etc
Home cinima link up then.

Turtle beach, best ones you can afford. Chalk and cheese to other brands.
Have a scout around cash converters etc.
Makes gameing more fun .
Stick the sub in the settee when you have explosions the ground effects brill.

Its not the turtle beaches making the echo, its because he has his tv too loud and he is probably sitting too close to the tv. The mic is just repeating the sound from the tv...
+1 for turtle beach's,
I have the x1's I bought off a mate for £10 (bargain).
They have far superior sound quality to any other over ear headphones I have used.
