Hope someone can help me.
I have a digital photo I'd like to submit in a competition.
The size is 3mb (I think mb!) but the rules state that the photos must be 2mb max.
How do I reduce the size?
Grateful for any help.
reduce the pixel width and height, using Fotosizer (http://www.fotosizer.com/) Free and easy to use :0)
I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Good stuff.. Before that I used Photoshop - bloatware

Me too. Very simple and you can keep the original aspect ratio to keep the shot in proportion.

There is also Image resizer from MS (part of a group of utilities called Powertoys)
When installed, you right click on any JPG file and one of the options is to resize
you get 4 custom sizes
Original file is untouched and new file is same name but with custom size (chosen) added.
The large custom size can be 1/40th of file size but if you print to A5 size you cannot tell which is original/copy
excellent for email
costs nothing
