I'm gutted, truly gutted.

Over the last 30 odd years I've known a fair few of my biking friends get killed on their bikes and I suppose I became a little bit immune to the shock and emotion I felt when I lost the first. Reeder's death has brought it all back and I'm sitting here, a damn near 50 year old man, with tears in my eyes at the loss of a witty young man who really did know how to live life to the fullest. RIP dude, I'm going to miss you and your daft banter more than you'll ever know :-(

Cannot quite believe this. I'm hearing about yet another young life that has been taken thanks to a hobby that has taken over my life. I know it happens but the overwhelming sense of disbelief that slowly transforms into shock and emotion is something I never want to get used to.
