Routing Braided Hoses? Pointy naked.

I have recently fitted braided hoses front and rear on the SV but the front routing looks a little tight for my liking.
I have taken some pictures so you can see the routing at the reservoir end.
Ignore the rubber grommet as that's just a quick fix to stop the hoses rubbing til I get something better.

How much slack at the caliper end FG1

If you've got no slack in the lines, it'll fail the MOT and also you run the risk of the lines pulling out of the banjo fitting if the forks over extend, causing instant brake failure :(

There's plenty of slack and the "curves" are quite natural elsewhere. It's just the way that they are fed inside the headlight fairing that is concerning me.

I'd slacken the banjo off at the M/C and just move the banjo to a bit more of a horizontal position, so the routings not quite as tight.

They are a buuger with straight banjo fittings, I had a similar problem.

The original OEM is a single line into a splitter isn't it?

only thing i can see wrong is that the banjo's are a bit to near the yoke and might cause rubbing, other that that they look fine.

I'd also try moving them out from the yoke a bit - but shouldn't the banjo on the outside line be angled so they're not so tight together?

My RGV lines looked like that when I got it and it turned out one of them was on upside down.

Can they go outside the headlight fairing? If not I'd try what others have suggested. You should be fine cracking the bolt just enough to move them up a tad but keep a rag handy just in case a little fluid seeps out. When your'e done get Kai and yourself to lift the front to make sure the hoses don't go tight at full fork extension.

Darren, they would fit better outside the headlight fairing but I thought they might be neater inside. I might have to go down the "not so neat" route....:(
