Replacement engine - maintenance before installation?

Hi all,

I've bought an engine from a forum member with unknown history or mileage.

Apart from changing the front sprocket and spark plugs, are there any other maintenance jobs you would suggest doing while it is easier to access out of the bike and before I put it in?

Valve shims. Leak down test to ascertain engine health, but you've already bought it so unless it's as duff as a duff thing I suppose you're going to use it anyway.
