So guys its that time again;

Route 1 - http://g.co/maps/g327h (http://g.co/maps/g327h) Morning - stop at Green Welly (then quick 5 min regroup at either end of Kinlochleven loop. Lunch in Oban. Afternoon - stop at Inveraray (then quick regroup in Arrochar) Finish at Carbeth for soft drinks and a bit of a gab.

Route 2 - http://g.co/maps/xfduj Quick Stop in Duns - longer stop in Jedburgh (maybe put in this 'TT' loop for a bit of interest) Regroup Bellingham and a quick stop at Kielder. Longer stop in one of the borders towns (don't know which one yet)

I haven't set a date either. So shout out for that one.

Vote away at your pleasure.

I'm more than happy to change the route from Duns down to Jedburgh.

two wheels if you like. my reasoning was it's easier for folk to get to Newbridge services.

if you zoom in on the map Mr Chucca you will see. even better if you change to satellite view and better still if you drag the little orange man onto the road you want to have a really close look at that way you get a street view  :smt116

you had the map indicating edinburgh university as the start point :smt052

The ride is quite long and we do ride fairly quickly (compared to what he/she will be used to). But there will be a good few breaks during the day. We'll be stopping in Duns then again in Jedburgh Somewhere near Kielder, then probably at Peebles where I have the feeling people will start to go their own way home...

I just don't want your mate to feel pressured into over-riding to trying to keep up and making mistakes, I'd rather they just took their time.

All in though I've no issues with your mate coming along.

i'm sure Dean wont mind me saying this...

we will put up with anything apart from 1 thing, speeding in towns & villages when it says 30 it means 30. when you see the white round circle with the black line threw it then do as you please. don't ride outside your capability and give the other riders room (don't ride up their arzz).

the group consists of riders of all capability's from 'captain slow' to 'dynamo dean' and on average it's only 5 minuets between the first and last arriving at destinations so there is no pressure to try and keep up. junctions are always marked so people don't get lost.

it's all about having a good day out and the best days are the ones you arrive at your home afterwords.

It was good to see everyone. Even if i wasn't able to talk coherently, i had so many q uestions to ask people but forgot all about them when i had the chance. Pm's will be sent in the next couple of days.

I doubt I'll make May's run what with this wedding stuff. So you guys take it easy enjoy yourselfs and be safe.

Thanks again everyone

Sorry for dropping off from youse on the m/way.

Should have filled up at Abington too cos 2 minutes on the B7078 and I got the blinking light of doom! :pale:

I was having to tickle the throttle home. Filled up with a litre remaining (half-litre from my record!).

I never learn.

Apart from that it was a good do.
