We where supposed to be racing at Elvington this Sunday but apparently cancelled due to a noise injunction:( Along with Croft is there no sense with British justice?

What the neighbour got a wild party tonight and want peace for their hangovers
The craic last year was a Barrister moved into a derelict house next to the course and has tried (unsuccessfully) 3 times to get the racing cancelled.
The selfish ***** wants it cancelled so it maximises the return on his investment renovating the building... allegedly.
Looks like he's succeeded this time.

Anyone got bolt croppers and a jet engine sled?
Sounds like someone in the local authority needs their ears boxing - if you move next to a racetrack, especially one that used to be a WWII airfield and holds drag racing events, I don't think a little bit of noise from time to time should be unexpected.
The airfields noise plan is located at http://www.elvingtonairfield.co.uk/airfield-noise-management, and I think they're being fairly reasonable - 16 days max on the really noisy stuff at weekends, and at least one weekend off per month.
With Croft now being the legal president, which office junior is going to stand up to an (intentionally) Irate barrister on the phone?
Absolutely ridiculous. You have a well paid job and option of buying a property almost anywhere in UK and you choose one next a track. Wouldn't mind but I would pay extra for it.I could use it myself and maybe run a little sideline from it like a b and b or overnight safe parking for its customers.

Problem is, Mr Barrister was, no doubt, fully aware that he could buy a property next to an air museum/race circuit and then have it silenced. Everyone knows what's happened at Croft. Perhaps Top Gear need to know.
