OK peeps, the sun is out - well it was earlier in the week - which should have encouraged you to get your motorbicyclemachines out of storage, get them all shiny shiny with the Muc Off before the hosepipe bans comes in, and then get your rusty limbs out onto the road again - and before some of you say it, I know some ride all year round despite the cold and rain.
So now is the time to start thinking about sunny June, camping, hog roast, toasty bonfire, a few crates of beer with your favourite friends, a small manageable hangover after too many Bacardi Breezers, solved with a bacon butty, and then the flashback that you took part in a wet t-shirt contest in a childrens paddling pool and maybe even won a trophy!
Yes folks, it's time to think about the AR and putting your name down if you haven't already.
The Only Way Is Essex - get yourself on the list.

If you've got any sense, don't do this at all - I'm still intending to insert one where it can't be used for speech nearly 9 months on...

Did 120 mile recce with Supervox today. If you aren't grinning like a loon by the end of it you don't deserve to hold a bike licence!
What's AR12? So sort of ride out?

It's your chance to put the Sex(y) in Essex.
I thought it was up north this year.

Was Essex when we had the big square fire pit? Or was that Somerset?

The pub have said we can have a fire so long as we remove the turf and replace it afterwards, and do not perform any Wickerman style sacrifices of Triumph riders.

The fat run off would constitute an environmental risk if you did ;)

Do they still have wood we can burn?
If so, I'll take on "fire" duties again :)

As a sensitive Triumph rider, currently suffering from excessive cuddliness, I could be really hurt...:smt101
But after several days touring Norfolk, Suffolk & Essex, before the AR, eating healthy options and no beer ;) I'm sure I'll cope with the hurtful jibes:bball:

Hosepipe ban about to start in Essex, we are drier than a camel's belly button down here. Rain on June 9th? No chance, so get AR in your diaries.
Decided to book a holiday , no jubilee :)

Your emails to Slash and Chris worked then ?
:)
PS, looking forwards to Slash, will probably take the next 2 days off afterwards and have Slash be the start of AR12 for me :)

As for Download, Chris Cornell is the sexiest sex God on the planet, but not as sexy as the Org boys so I've made my choice.

I will be in my big tent with the large inflatable mattress, feather duvet and duck down pillows. Glam-ping not camping for me. But I'm having it all to myself!
Electric hook up as well?
Can have fan too keep the tent cool and fridge to cool the wine and beers.

Or bring a giant bucket, ice packs, and go buy extra ice cubes from tesco's & fill the thing with water & beer/wine? Just beware it encourages you to drink more than you normally would. Bit like when you eat far too much turkey at xmas just because there's a bird sat on the cooker.
Told my missus to stop sitting on there now though :D
Or.tip the ice in LPH's paddling pool .
Then see who can stand in it the longest and use the water for the tee shirt contest .
