Number plate light not working.

hi i have fitted my stage 2 tail tidy what i got of ebay and the number plate light is not working i am just wondering if there is any kind thungs i should check for because it is not the orginal number plate light, it come with the tail tidy
any help would be great :confused:

Did the old one work? If yes then the supply is OK, have you checked the bulb? Is it LED? Is it connected correctly?

Too many variables - tell us what you've tried as; ' why doesn't it work' is a big question.

If it's an LED then there is a wrong way, and a right way to connect it up, so maybe wires crossed. Bulbs can go either way around.

hi its a sealed unit and the unit has a led light i have tried differnt ways to connect the wires and i got flash then i cant get it to work again the unit is a bolt on one which come with the tail tidy and i ma conserding to get a new bolt on light to go on my tail tidy if i cant get to work

i can post you a large white led if this helps? my r and g tail tidy plate light always used to play up until i just rewired it myself, r and g wanted £18 for a new led light? WTF?
