Wanted for 11th-12th May, is there such a thing, any reccomendations?
Planning on going up to Glencoe and around about on the 12th. Most seem to want stupid money to sleep in a bed, so what you got lads and Lassies, cheers andy. Will be on the bike.

Depending on just how close to Loch Lomond you need, one can often bag a bit of a bargain at the Village Inn at Arrochar.

any of the big tourist places will charge a premium. try looking off the beaten track on google maps. or look at the crap places like Hellensburgh, Dumbarton or Balloch.

Ask Tiger his opinon of 'the Rowantree Tavern' nr Balloch.

Depends on what you want as far as 'cheap' is concerned, but we stayed there and survived, almost convinced them to park the ZZR in the bar

Its a pub, they serve food, they have bed(bit lumpy, but clean), they have breakfast....basic one, but non the less......

makes for a giggle, go on ask Tiger....

I've stayed here before but it was a few years ago now, looks like the place may have new owners now...but I could make no complaints about it, and it was cheap. Might be worth a ring.

The barman, a man called Meat, looked after us very well in the Rowantree Tavern. After Pegasus foolishly beat one of the locals at pool twice I did rather feel we needed looking after but there you go.

I told a mate of mine who lives in Balloch that friends were staying in Jamestown and his reply was; "You've got to be f*cking kidding!" But, you know, Dizzy and Pete survived and you genuinely can park your bike in the bar.

Here we all are outside. Can you spot the regular customer?

In summary, highly recommended. :-)
