Mentioned the idea over in this thread (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?p=2690492).
"J&S Accessories Oakmere marks their opening with an open weekend for all the family on 21st & 22nd April. Read more (http://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/oakmere)"
It'll be located here (http://g.co/maps/khyk8) which is the same plot where Harringtons/Discover Leisure used to be.
Who's going and on what day? Fancy meeting up? I've nothing planned on either day at the moment, so will see which day is nicer and ride over.

Whatever day I'm not cycling, most likely on the Sunday. I will probably be in the car as I'm in the market for new helmet, boots, back protectors and maybe even some leathers! If there are offers, money will change hands :D

Went passed there and saw the signs.
Great new location for them.
Better than the northwich shop anyway.
Better parking, showroom space and on the road to oulton park too...

I love J&S.
I went and bought what I considered cheap and cheerful J&S own brand textiles that would see me through a few miles as a pillion before I knew how much time I would actually be spending on the back of the bike. That was many years ago now and they are still looking new and in damn near perfect condition. After about a year, I went to HG to upgrade and not one set of textiles in there were as comfortable or offered the same amount of protection, regardless of the price.
I still have them, I will not change them until I need to and I would recommend J&S gear to anyone.

I went along to Northwich today as I needed some leather trousers for casual riding when I don'f wear full leathers. I tried on a few types, some branded expensive ones. In the end I went for the J&S own brand, really good quality, I hope they last as long as yours have.
I'll probably take a wander up if the weathers nice for this opening weekend, any excuse to ride the bike. Maybe meet up for a cuppa on the Saturday?

I won't be going anywhere this weekend as too much on down here, but congrats on your J&S purchase. I honestly love mine if you couldn't tell already.

As you can see, after 4 years ( I just worked it out) and many many miles, including some horrible weather, especially the week I did my test, they are still looking new and are roasty toasty warm :-)
I think I need a bigger boyfriend though!

I definitely want to put in an appearance one day, all things (the weather) being equal i'll likely lean towards popular opinion.
Rode past it again today, seems to be coming along nicely, think i saw some leathers and things hanging up already. Be handy to have a bigger store nearby.

Shysters , advertise things and then when I turn up , they mysteriously don`t have them in stock but have alternatives . Loss-Leader advertisers at their worst , and will never darken their doorstep again

You didn't seriously expect 5kg of marshmellows for 39p did you? "Brand new customers only I'm afraid sir"
I find then pretty reasonable, great choice of clothing etc. Good excuse for a mooch up there even if you hate 'em. Come on Badge... you can do it :-)

Mmm, I think that the missus is at work on Sunday, means I may take a nosey :)
Any idea on times people may be there then???
Dave
Only picking the bike up at 10 on Saturday morning so may still be polishing it on Sunday, but will be there if I get authorisation from the missus to spend on a pair of gloves;-)

I'll head up at a similar time if the weather holds, looks dull cloudy and like it's about to pour down here. And got rather wet yesterday on my bike and while playing on a Street Triple and don't much fancy another day of riding in the rain if I can help it!

Probably will put in an appearance around the same time, I'm in the car though as I broke my bike again.
Might not make it, thinking of taking the kids over to Liverpool to see the giant puppets. J&S will be there next week :-)

Good to see Mike/Mel, Dave/Kirsty, Quiff/Mandy and Brettus :)
Could have done without the £60 fine for the number plate though... did mean to switch it before I left as I knew they'd be out picking at little things given the expected number of bikes in the area.

Ended up messing with the CBR nearly all day, so didn't go
We got there in the end, pretty busy so no idea who was around. Pretty impressive store now, would be a good weekend meeting place with the cafe and all.

We decided J & S could wait as we didn`t want to miss the spectacular Liverpool Sea Odyssey....... was an incredible experience and made me proud to be a Liverpudlian. I doubt that i`ll ever see anything so amazing and breathtaking ever again in my life. Some good footage on you tube but nothing like being there and seeing the sheer scale of the giant puppets and the fantastic puppeteers who worked so hard. I`m still buzzing !!!

Yup, sorry I missed some of you, I was on a bit of a fleeting visit and I had met up with a work colleague there who had 3 small kids in tow so couldn't really abandon him. Nice to catch up with the few who I did though, we will need to get the evening meets back on too, haven't seen some of you guys in AGES!
Will be really nice for a browse when the place has settled down to normal trade traffic.
Anyone buy anything there? I managed to restrain myself.
