As I had a free afternoon, I took a run down to the Harley Davidson open weekend at Charing X Glasgow.
I took a big un for a test drive, could not tell you which one.
I enjoyed the experience but suspect the seating position is a bit like how a woman lies to give birth.
I did confess when I got back to showroom that I did not think I was old enough to own one yet.
(I passed my bike test in 1969)
Buying an HD is obviously a lifestyle choice, You need the his&her's clothes, boots etc.
This was my first time on an HD and I reckon that I have now driven bikes from all the mainstream manufacturers.
They are open again tomorrow but I suspect the weather will be a lot wetter.
PS all the poor girls (and women) had to wear a certain style of vest shirt.
If it is colder tomorrow, there will be no problems about where to hang your jackets boys.
