As the title suggests. I am just wondering how many riders there are in this area.

I live in Aldershot, so not far from Guildford.

I only passed my DAS course on Wednesday, but should have an SV soon.

Cheers,
Wayne

Aye was wondering the same... I'm from Basingstoke so again not too far from Guildford. This group doesn't seem to be too active!

The GM are a quiet bunch but we normally have org rides from boxhill or newlands corner when the weather picks up, best bet is the kent/soho or thames vally lot though.

Well, we'll have to see once I get my bike. I still ride slowly on bends so I just need time on the roads.

A nice little ride to a cafe for a cuppa will do nicely.

Google maps newlands corner and once you have your bike bugger up and have a look around on a sunday. The roads round there arnt to twisty or fast and its always packed out with a nice little cafe.

Oh and tonyk, STAY OFF OUR TURF. There'll be some Sons of Anarchy style gun slinging goin on if we catch you...Or tea drinking and pleasantries. But still, be afraid.

as it happens I'm in Guildford most Thursdays, have a regular tea stop there after doing a couple of hundred miles, no shortage of decent roads, the guilford group hasn't been very active for a while now, but if your interested the selkent & Soho groups used Boxhill or Newland as a start point for some of their summer runs.

Cheers Mark.

Funnily enough I had to introduce that "feature" to my S4 as it didn't come as standard, but checking the valve clearances and not seating the cover gasket right (it was done back in the start of Feb, and I haven't been arsed to fix it yet) has resulted in a very small leak, but that wasn't enough to make it "traditional" so on refilling my scottoiler I've found I've now got a proper "dripping" so that should keep the old guard happy.......:), or of course I could get my bum in gear and fix both I suppose...;)

I don’t even know how to reply to this, but WTF comes to mind.:smt102
be afraid. Or the Consequence will be :smt059for me ?.
Thank god your not in the Soho Massive or the Selkent or the Thames Valley or the south & west lounge or pennine massive or the Madlanders or the Border Patrol or East Anglian Revolution or even the SV Ecosse area then I would be really buggered.
Threatened to stay out of Guildford, I can live with that.

Do you know me ?.:smt017

Either I don't get the joke or you've had a sense of humour failure.
I'm off on holiday now so you have 10 days to enjoy the sights of Guildford before my return.

For clarification the 2nd sentence was ment to be taken in a jovial, having a laugh, general nicey nicey way the same as the other post. I'll save my idle banter for the idle banter section from now on.

The biggest problem with the internet is it's very hard at times to get how people are trying to say stuff. I thought both your comments were meant as banter. Maybe I missed something.

Banter's good almost everywhere, even alongside useful information. :smt041

Nice. Since I passed my test all I can think about is biking.

I've been clearing out the garage for the last few days, making space.

I'll post once I have wheels.
