The four of us went paintballing yesterday. Brilliant fun, the lot we went with (Delta Force - highly recommend them) take anyone over 10 years old so the boys had a great time too. Having been running around, crouching behind trees and diving into ditches all day, I ached a bit by the time we got home. This morning, I ached quite a lot. It's got worse all day.

This evening, my thighs feel like I ran a marathon yesterday! When did I suddenly stop being able to recover overnight? When did a fun few hours suddenly turn into a day of pain?

In short, when did I turn into an old crock? And just as importantly..

when did you?

In my last season of footie I had to move from left back to centre back. I was getting roasted by wingers....................................... now I'm in row H.

I guess that means I'm an old crock.

When I started thinking of excuses not to go camping on the bike as it was taking too long to recover from the backache and lack of sleeep.

I feel your pain mate. Paint balling is quite taxing. Last time I went I remember being constantly out of breath, but I know when I was younger it wall all about pegging it and leaping over things. Everything aches after even the most mild of exercise. Gahh .... and I'm only 30!

You're only as old as the men you are having dinner with - so that's Raving Mavis tonight and Chris8886 tomorrow - which makes me a mid twenty something!

I pushed a car down the road the other day to try and bump start it with a couple of others. Failed miserably, however, I felt so sick and could hardly walk!

I'm only 25... Haha not fat, but do have a serious soft spot or Haribo.

Last time I tried motocross... I actually cried with the pain my hips were giving me during the day, didn't stop me though. Got a hug from Mrs Chucca and was then told to get a grip by Andy and I kept going. was a great day...

Only problem was I couldn't move the next morning, just couldn't get out of bed it took an age. My legs then kept giving way for the rest of the day I'd be walking along fine and then bam I was nearly flat on my face...

God I wanna go back and do it again so I do. It was bl00dy briliant fun when I was there (bar the tears)
