I have a standard Suzuki one that fitted perfectly and in my opinion looks great!

Can't comment on others though....

Pyramid plastics huggers are popular. I have one and have no complaints.

I got one for my K2, disappointed at the fitting. Feels very stretched. For what I paid I expected better

I too am happy with my red fox hugger ( gloss black) on my Sk9 - easy enough fit, v fast delivery from them direct at the site above i think. I got a fender extender at the same time too.

I think the price of most of these things beggars belief but R/F seemed to cost marginally less for a comparible quality and a decent fit.

It's very straightforward and I think it comes with instructions anyway. My bike's an sk9 so should be identical.

From memory, just take the old chain guard off and detach the brake hose clip thing from the swingarm on the other side. Position the hugger and loosely re-attach the bolts, hose clip etc, fiddle about a bit to get everything lined up properly/straight/suitably distanced from the tyre (this is the only slightly fiddly bit) and then tighten - Lo and behold, Robert is your mother's brother!

I think I may have added a couple of rubber washers where the bolts attach to reduce the risk of the hugger cracking when tightening.

Yep defo what sputnik said. I also added to rubber o-rings on chainguard screws to prevent damage. The brake line holder can be a bit fiddly getting it screwed down with hugger in place but just be patient. Literally is just 3 screws.

+1 :smt023

Nice even gap between hugger and tire, fits perfect!

TIP Use threadlock on the bolts when you fit it.
