In view of what has happened to Mark. Has anyone tried fitting the cheap ebay chinese GPS trackers to their bike.

About 30 quid should buy one and hard wire it to the bike battery (Should not sup too much and you want it running when the bike disappears)

Shove in a cheap payg sim and if the bike disappears send it a where are you text to get the co-ordinates text back.

I am tempted to give it a go.

i'v been thinking about one of these for a few years now as every bike i have ever owned apart from my new one has gone walkie's.

Nope...I'd rather spend the £30 on pointless mods that will go missing if/when the bike does. My bike owes me nowt and if it goes walkies, I get a new one from the insurers and have all the fun of upgrading it all over again lol.

I suppose the disadvantage would be if the wife was smart she could use it to find out where I am.

As in "I will be going out on the bike all day love", when what I really mean is I will be using the bike to visit the girlfriend.

I don't know Pete. I got history. That is why Lynne will not let me drink in case it gives me ideas and fogs the beer goggles.
