Pointy bungee hooks - can I take them off?

Got my pointy yesterday, don't think I like the single rider pod (might sell it?)
So I put the grab rail back and seat back on, but there is some screws that I don't know why they are there.

What are they for and can I remove them?

a) Bungee hooks,
b) Don't know, why would you want to, they are bungee hooks.

They look odd, two screws just poking out. Least that means I worked out how to put the grab rail back on properly if they are supposed to be there.

On the face of it, it might seem like a silly question. But I only found out what they were when I was looking up cargo nets.

From a novice rider point of view I thought they looked like the wrong bolts had been used. Doh!

they are for securing a givi rack and can just be unscrewed (read use mole grips) at your lesuire
