View Full Version : SV Newbie
:D Hello people, Nice to see such a large following of this great bike. I am due to take my MOD 2 test this friday. I have purchased a 2003 SV650s in a metallic blue color. Could anybody tell me what color this is? I gather there are quite a few similar colors similar to this. As you can see the previous owner has put on some chequered flag decals to the rear which i am unsure of. I do think this maybe covering a few marks underneath. Otherwise the bike is in very good condition with quite a few extras including braided hoses. Thanks in advance. The paint code is YC2, I have the same K3 as you and also looking to touch up some bodywork. I've found out that if you are going to do it personally, you need to take good preperation before you paint, lots of wet and dry for a nice smooth surface to spray on. Good luck for Friday, good to see another SV owner on board :)

I live near Halifax. Out in the sticks. Where do you usually venture to on a ride out around here? Somewhere with new big biker friendly roads! Pudsey not too far from here, Is there some sort of meet anytime soon? Cheers
