Cheeky question to ask

Would any of you fine people that don't live too far from me be able to lend me a van on Sunday to pick up a motorbike?
A trailor would be no good unless I borrowed your car and trailor as my mondeo hasn't got a towbar and light connections.
My insurance covers me to drive another vehicle on a third party basis, I would replace any fuel I used and would give you a gift of beer and doughnuts.

I know it's a bit of an ask but I thought I'd put it out there now incase my Facebook buddies and work mates let me down.

Oh, that could work. When you say "spare" does that mean you wouldn't need it back right away? Like maybe give it back the weekend after? I'll see if I can borrow a car with a tow bar first to save the hassle of fitting it. I'll let you know, cheers matey.

Cheers matey, just typical that out of my friends with vans 2 are off the road and 1 is off to Wales today with mountain bikes in the back, everyone else has got built in shelves or little vauxhall combie things. Rubbish
