Few points...
Choose a quieter island, way too many cars coming and going.
Put the camera the right way up
Lose the sparkies, only cnuts use those imo.

Hmm knee down on a busy roundabout, or a roundabout for that matter, doesn't impress me too much.
Unlike Shania Numbers above, I'm impressed :-)
Smooth and controlled stylee there.
Its a right of passage you've successfully mastered. Now go and find a left hander to sort the other slider out ;-)

Everyone's got to start somewhere

Just keep practising dude, but, do it safely.
And keep wearing sparkies if you want, biking is all about personal choice, don't let anyone dictate to you what you can't do

Agree with the above but tbf I've only ever touched down on the track/private property.
Aslong as it's safe I have no qualms with it (or anything really for that matter), but being impressed is a different kettle of fish :)

If you have been on a track what does impress you?
I have got knee down both left and right and worn out a few knee sliders.
I found a really good road for left and right knee down, but, the moved away from it :-C But, now that I have my R6 I am looking to do a track day at Snetterton, although, getting knee down every corner doesn't make you faster on track...

Not someone videoing themself going round and round a roundabout, just personal opinion not an attack. I'm far from a good rider, hope it didn't come across that way!

Let the kid have his fun.
Hell, when I got my knee down for the first time it felt like the best thing in the world, next stop beating Casey Stoner! (I hate hat guy!)
But, reality soon sets in...
I think OP just wanted to show that he can do it too.
When I first got my knee down, there were no knee sliders so I made my own out of Nescafe jar lids filled with plastic padding and tied on with laces! :-)
No bend in Northumberland was out of bounds, including roundabouts.
Track days hadn't been invented either.
and use the Sparkies if you like because you're not allowed to use them in racing. They're classed as a fire hazzard! :-)

I barely can! In hindsight maybe I shouldn't have posted 'or any roundabout' not really constructive, I have no issue with people doing things for the hell of it just keep it safe.
Berlin the nesCafe racer is impressive 8)

Wow... didn't realize posting a Simple video could cause a stir!!
Didn't do it to show off or anything but as being said, its a good thing when you first start off doing it... Am sure the novelty will wear off in time but might as well enjoy it whilst it lasts...
Thanks for all the comments and advice, its difficult to find a local roundabout thats any quieter then the one i use!
And i like the feel of the sparky sliders, plus they look pretty cool, get a few funny looks from the car drivers too hehe!!
Thanks once again

TON and I were doing K/D circuits of a round-about in bristol and this dude stopped because he was a bike racer and had never got K/D and wanted to know how we did it.
The photo is off my right knee slider about about 30 mins on that roundabout

it's alright, good thing about this site, people will pull you for being a tosser but likewise pull you for being a boring stick in the turd ;)
Only in Barnsley? You can teach me:viking:
I've a mate that loves doing it, he just goes to a carpark and goes round and round.

I can't do that, three times round the roundabout then off or it is "chunder time"

I got mine for £15 from George White's before they went bust.
But, to be honest I was pressing down pretty had on the slider, they is why is fooked. Now I just make sure there is a light scrap and don't press down, no point over doing it

Should sort a ride once I've got my insurance sorted
There used to be a guy that sold ones that look exactly like the standard triumph suit ones (but without triumph written round the side) on ebay for about £8 a set.
