Oxtar Goretex boots - not a drop got through.
Weise two peice waterproofs - not a drop
Reiss waterproof race gloves - did get quite wet by the end of the day.

Over the course of the trip I feel myself very lucky that I only finally succumbed to penetration on The final day circa 2.30am on Tuesday.

However this was caused by my suit being too short and the wind ripping the zip open on my left leg and allowing water to drip down my boot.

Otherwise my Tuzo one piece condom and TCX (formerly Oxtar) Goretex boots were fine.

6 year old danniisport gloves let water in and I couldn't fathom whether my halverssons let water in or if it was run off.

Both water proof jacket and legs stay dry, non water proof boots only got a little wet and water proof glove were pointless

Gloves got damp but everything else didn't leak a drop, which is suprising considering we were under water for most of the weekend like submarines.

RST Waterproof suit and Hein Gericke waterproof gloves performed admirably. Feet got soaked because water soaked up through the sole despite wearing waterproof overshoes. The helmet was predictably waterproof too :)

Frank Thomas textile jacket performed admirably though it was damp between the quilted lining and the jacket, this could have been sweat or condensation. Its gore tex type copy fabric isnt as breathable as it claims to be.

Waterproof overtrousers worked well, but again left damp kevlar jeans but think that was total bin bag lack of breathability.

Tuzo gloves got damp, but I dont believe theres a glove on the market that can stand up to that kind of monsoon.

Oxtar Gore Tex boots perfect, best piece of kit I own by a long way.

Lichfield Apache tent didnt leak a drop.

The problem I did have which is not really fault of any of the kit, was rainwater blowing up my legs and under my jacket, giving me a wet belly which eventually soaked out and ran trickes of water down into my crotch.

Spada Suit kept me 100% dry and I rode back to York from Portsmouth in a Moonsoon.

TCX gortex boots 100% dry also.

Triumph Leather gloves (Alpinstars) leaked like a sieve. Luckily I had my RST spares that were loads better.

First thing I did do when I got home was buy new pinlocks for both my Visors and the constant stemaing up of the visor was a nightmare and having to open it to pass lorries was about as much fun as nailing your knackers to the floor.

Last thing I did before setting off on this trip was buy a clear pinlock :)
so glad I did, I would have packed the ride home in if I had of had fog to contend with too!
