Yep, you've ridden on a North Norfolk coastal road and ridden through Wolferton.

We saw it last year, great scarecrows

Lots of people in Norfolk make scarecrows to look their enemies, then they burn them and dance naked around the embers.

I didn't realise it was a widely done thing... this wasn't in Norfolk... It was actually in Doncaster, in a little village called Tickhill, apparently it's an annual event!! Quite bizarre!

Damn - I was going to say Tickhill, until a google search suggested that the madness is a lot wider spread than I originally thought.

Surely if the crops fail, you need to spread the seed more effectively, not less...
