Following the link http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk/ and selecting instrument bling you'll be brought to a page I'm sure most SV tweekers are familiar with.
I've had these lights in BLUE for some time now and have recently gotten round to making the move from waste of money - installed. However I was unable to surpass step 5.
"Since the display is not fixed in place, you can now carefully pull the white plastic cover out with the LCD display. Take care when pulling the liquid crystal display out. Its a glass screen and is so easily damaged, pull it out square and gently and you will be ok.
NOTE** The pins are about 15mm long."
Suffice to say the T.V. repair chaps who are quite competant at micro-soldering (and one of which is an SV rider) are stumped here too, particularly since they don't want to damage the screen any more than I do. Any advice, tips, vids or pics will be most welcome, even if its just a matter of saying "put sum welly in" the first time I take something apart i'm always a little nervous to its fragility.
Cheers guys
