Why is wee yellow?

It doesn't seem to matter what you drink, its always a shade of yellow.

Not always yellow... down yourself a couple of litres of water with some ecstasy tablets mixed in and get back to me in an hour or so

Pink pee is a nice effect, a few beetroot helpings does it for me.

I remember taking Barocca the Vitamin C drink after a heavy boozy night and it turned my pee bright Orange, I thought my kidneys had packed in until I worked out what caused it!

Drinking orange juice and taking berocca results in almost day glo orange pee, quite disconcerting the first time when the bathroom gets a little brighter :confused::rolleyes:

On a serious note (yes, boring), if you have a lot of dark pee, you're constantly dehydrated. There's strong evidence that can lead to kidney stones, which is about as pleasant as having to force a pebble out through your japseye .... oh hang on, it IS having to force a pebble out through your japseye.

Aim for mildly yellow pee people.

Strangest incident I had was on a boat after a night on the lash going to the toilet when the water in the bowel was full of phosphorescence------mind blowing when you are half cut.
