Anybody stayed there and would recommend a B&B?

Just for the 1 night, and if it does an evening meal then even better :)

Thanks

Dave

Know the couple who own the Moorings on the harbour front. I haven't stayed in the B&B itself (he put me up in his spare place instead :-)) but they're really nice folk, Martin's a biker and altogether very interesting fella to talk to. Both know lots about the area and can recommend places to eat and such.

Never stay in Mallaig - closest for me is this place in the Kyle of Lochalsh. http://www.go-bedandbreakfast.co.uk/CeolNaMara/

Its a lovely place but its maybe a little far away if you go by road :)

I have stayed 10 years at the princes house at Glenfinnan on the road from ft William to Mallaig. Good food and even a stag in the carpark to give the impression you were in the wilds. Bugger ran like feck up the road when I appeared with the camera. So only got a shot at its ****.

Hot water, warm room. decent bar/restaurant. But that was 10 years ago. I don't know what it is like now.
