Gonna head along the coast with the missus on the back and treat her to a wee cone in St Andrews. Its meant to be lashing it down tomorrow so this could be the only chance this weekend.

Aye i've been up at Pheonix Honda Grangemouth for a go on the new 2012 Fireblade :-)
Went to Triumph Glasgow and had a shot on an XC800 and a Street Triple R. Xc800 was nice, great for a few days away but the STR was awesome! I want one.

Thought you were going to say you did the GM route on the last dry day of 2012, Ron ;)
No, we wont be downhearted. :D
suits you sir.. only thing i don't like about the new ones are those fugly headlamps.
even if they put a nice wee bikini faring on them it would look much better. someone at triumph must have been on the loopy juice when they thought those up.

Seems to be a lot of love for street triples on here at the moment (including from me)....
They are great.... just not sure I can deal with the wind blast.

Indeed. You were spotted, twice, by me and Marc (who also, sherlock holmes-like deduced your destination... or maybe he just knew your plans!). Nice ride?

Yeah, Triumph gave me a matching leather to take their bike oot!
Only joking, bought it at the bike show in Edinburgh a couple of years ago, couldn't miss at £50 insterad of £250!
Knew I would eventually get a Triumph after the SV, it's part of the forum rules isn't it?
but the STR was awesome! I want one.
Why does everyone keep saying that?!?
Must stop spending money on bikes...
