As per the title. I'm pretty sure I can't make it due to wedding (of a mate) related shananigans, but I could possibly disown him or kidnap his wife if I have enough of an incentive to attend. :clown:

I wasn't suggesting a kidnap scenario in which I bring her to AR12 and we all have a go. That would be a little extreme. I was thinking more of a "kidnap and lock in a hotel room somewhere so her wedding goes down the pan and I can get away with not attending" scenario. That's a totally above board and accepted technique to avoid weddings.
Alternatively I could arrive in my biker gear and the SV running outside the church. Upon being asked if anyone here present has any reason why blah blah blah, I can pipe up with "YES! ****ING AR12", which the vicar will gladly accept as a reason to halt proceedings. At which point I'll run out to my bike, vicar in tow, who'll leap on the back, hold me tight and whisper to me how much I remind him of his favourite choir boy.
Yes, I am typing crap in an attempt to avoid work. Fag break me thinks ... :D

Let me know your plans mate. I'll see what I can do from here.
there are 2 plans:
1)finish half day and see about meeting TIB and a few others at BP on the A3
2)finish work at 6 and blast there afterwards.
It's only about 100 miles from where i am, or about 2 hours depending on Friday night traffic. I'll know shortly if i have got the half day!
I am oh so tempted but have no luggage, may have to 'borrow' some from work :)

No probs. If I go, one of my mates will be coming too, so we'll probably head off early on friday.
