I've decided it's time for a change, so my streetfightered 2004 SV650S is up for sale. Unfortunately I did convert this after an off, which left me suspecting my forks weren't 100%. I also had to replace the radiator, and I fitted a smaller K5+ model.
There are a few bad bits:
- Fitted a motogadget aftermarket dash and I haven't fixed the speedo yet (although I have the parts, and a bracket that just needs drilling)
- Both rear fairing panels and the grab rail are a bit scratched up.
- Seat cowl looks like someone has spilt something on it (was like that when I bought it)
- Front tyre could do with being replaced
Good bits:
- K4 GSXR 600 forks and radial brakes.
- Motogadget speedometer integrated into the bar clamp.
- Mivv GP exhaust, and collector pipes.
- MT-03 style headlight
It's coming up for an MOT on Tuesday next week (22/05). I'm testing a couple of bikes over the weekend, so I'm looking to get rid asap. It's done approximately 25,000 miles, I was offered £1250 by a dealer, but given the condition I'll happily accept £1100.
I only managed to this photo before it got dark, but I'll try and upload a few more tomorrow/Saturday.

Finally taken some more pictures, including the damage. Also after getting it valued by the dealer I'm buying my new bike off I'm going to drop the asking price. If anyone wants it for £600, get in touch before next Saturday.

£600...? I'll have it for that price as long as you're not a million miles away?

B*gger off you lot, like a pack of vultures! ;)
All being well I'll be there this week!
You just beat me with your PM James so hopefully your train is cancelled or your van breaks down or something. But in all seriousness i don't think it would suit you mate :)
If you are getting the train down and riding it back to jock land fair play to you mate, you've picked that right week for it and if you fancy a cupola tea on the way home I'm not far from the seller.

Meh, I did London to Aberdeen and back again over an Easter Weekend - its no real distance at all :p
James, you should have asked him to hold it for you for a week or so and added the AR into your trip :p
Last time I rode a naked on a motorway (London to Stranraer the ferry to Belfast) I could hardly move my neck/head for about 3 days after from the wind blasting the visor bit of my motorcross type helmet. Lesson learnt
Does that mean you've got rid of the Blade then James?

Still got the Blade Len, our very own Mr 6th has got his eye on it and is just waiting for the generator to get fixed at the moment I think...
I see. Was gonna say, you could have delivered the blade to me on the way to picking this up :D

Heh, if I had low(er) enough morals I'd consider starting a budding war! Made it to Fackin Landan in one piece, now time for some kip ahead of tomorrow's run home...
Laaaandaaaaaan!
I'm sorry to say however that I picked up the bike a few hours ago. Got it for £612.37! :)
Take it easy on your ride home.
