Is that your Corse SE ?
I'm fancying one of those next, had a sit on the standard version and was surprised at how much room there was (I'm 6'5") Test ride planned within the next few weeks.
My Mrs. does'nt like the Corse colours though, she prefers the plain red standard one. IIRC the Corse comes with Ohlins, t/c, quickshifter and DDA which tots up to about £2.5k but it's only about £1k more than standard.
What's it sound like?
Haha :) If only! It was a Ducati/Riders trackday so they had the standard 848, Evo Corse version and Panigale side by side. Oh, and an S100RR 2012 for good measure. Unfortunately they wouldn't allow riding the Evo Corse or Panigale but I did sit on it and chat to the guys.
Yes the Corse version has the upgraded Ohlins and quickshifter. This example even had Marchesini wheels. Lovely :) Personally, I like the Corse colours. In the flesh it is gorgeous and you'll have a hard time deciding between the red and Corse colours.
But some interesting feedback from the guys. They rode the Panigale and 848 back to back and said the difference was like night and day. Not just in the power, which is obvious, but the delivery and feel of the two bikes. I believe the standard 848 is about 10k and the Corse is almost 12k I think. I would definitely go for the Corse version if I could afford. But then the base Panigale is another 3k or so! If only one had the money;)
P.s. Mine is the better looking SV650, yep the one with the missing bar ends and rusting tax disc holder :D
