It was mentioned in Joe Marcon's thread that someone called Paul Wilson from the SV forums had called the hospital and then hung up before the nurse got back to the phone.

I'm not happy about this at all because I have done nothing of the sort, and the penny has just dropped with me about 10 minutes ago, it's someone on here who has attempted to intrude/invade Joe's privacy in an attempt to work out whether the kid is telling the truth about his illness...

Whoever it is, you're an absolute nob end. Don't use my name for your own trivial adventures because there's no exciting trolling to be done elsewhere on the internet.

I didnt know your last name was Wilson . So I didn't just make it up and say he rang . So it's definite that someone knows your full name and used it

I was thinking it might have been a randomer as you have a link to your website in your sig so seemingly anyone could find your contact details through that but your name's not on there...so its more likely it's someone on your facebook, joy. But as Badg says, not worth getting your knickers in a twist over, maybe someone was genuinely concerned but didn't want to use their own name and knowing Joe was mates with you probably thought they'd have more of a chance getting through and finding out what the craic was with your name...

I've been thinkng about this all morning. Not good.
Hospitals are not nice places to be, serious illnesses are not nice things to have. Ringing up a hospital and pretending to be someone else is a c#nts trick, that goes without saying. Obviously the person whose name was used has a right to be ****ed off but, most importantly, I'm sure that the hospital staff have better things to do than get f#cked about by some creep with nothing better to do.

Hopefully, a one off.

I think that is the only way someone would know your last name hun...so I think it is utterly poo that someone you know through here well enough to be a friend outside the forum would use your name like that.
