We've had too much unhappiness on the forum recently SO!
I'm happy today cause i know I'm out on the bike tomorrow avo and goin to Knockhill to get BSB tickets. But what's making you guys happy today.
Here here!
New exhaust arrived yesterday so it's going on tonight... unless I go for a ride instead (hopefully both). I'd forgotten quite how nice it is to ride in nice weather :)
"Every day is a nice day, its just that some are nicer than others."
I had the pleasure of having lunch with Mrs w, bought a new golf club and we're going out again later for a glass or three.

I got my bike back from the bike shop yesterday and have just ordered Suzuki parts to fix it at half price, so I can spend the Bank Holiday fettling cylinder heads, valves and piston rings....I've missed riding it for the last couple of weeks so looking forward to getting some smoke free miles under my belt once it's sorted.
Found the reason for my bike popping and banging was simply an exhaust clamp had come loose at the front and was blowing, fixed in 10 minutes! And today I play football (slowly and taking it easy though) for the first time in 10 months after injury then knee surgery!...

I have the next 6 days off, 1 day back at work with the Slash gig that evening, then 4 days off for AR. It's Stu's birthday party this weekend too.
The reason I'm not taking the whole week off next week is because on Wednesday we have the life limited kids from Chase Shooting Star Hospice at Lord's for their family fun day which I organise each year. Spend a few hours in their company, knowing they probably won't make it to 19, will have to endure a lot of pain and many operations, see how much they enjoy their day at the cricket and it puts everything else in perspective.
Appreciate what you've got everybody!

Finally got my license back from DVLA, have booked assessment for HGV (I know it is called LGV now, but it just sounds wrong), 2pm on Saturday. I have driven a small lorry for years using the 'grandparents rights' so I am hoping it will all go well and I will not need too many days of lessons. Really looking forward to it.
