Good cause, but will it be any fun? I did a help for heroes ride before and never got out of 2nd gear. If there are loads of people it'll be a procession. Not saying no, but I need convincing!!! :)

Its a 200 mile route so they wont be too slow and if they are we can bug out and speed up and go to the coast without them![-o<
No strippers sorry Spank!:(

Well, I'm going to work then, not wasting a sick day without strippers.
After all, it could be the day I get a phone fault in a strip club.

This is the way I would go to get there. Where can we meet before? If we try to meet there, it could be heaving and hard to find each other!

Ok. I am now on "Dad's taxis" service on Sunday. So I'm up for this. Even if we only stay with them for an hour before detouring.

Don't be swayed by Fallout, a steady ride with several hundred other bikes is a fantastic experience especially if you've not done it before!:thumleft: It'll make you smile when we start to cause chaos at junctions and roundabouts!:p

I reckon I can find that. What time?
As for a big ride, I did the Wootton Bassett one a year or so ago. Over 10,000 bikes at that one. I hope this is smaller!

Bear in mind the Wooten Bassett ride was organised specifically as a slow speed parade, presumably this one won't be.

Hopefully I'll get some good footage.
Anyone else playing tomorrow?
We can always meet up later on if you don't fancy the early bit.

Good shout Wayne. Will prepare cam now. 7:15ish at the train station it is, then we can head down together and make sure we're together in the actual run. Do we need to donate money or anything? I'm assuming its a charity thing? I know nothing about it!

They will more than likely want donations. Wayne your gonna love it!:riding:

Well it was a really good day.
You guys missed out. Around 50 bikes and it wasn't slow.
I have a video which I can upload later. But here is a photo. It was the end of the day though and a lot had left already.

Hope you had a good day. The weather here was rubbish first thing so I ended up just having an afternoon out once it had cleared up a lot.
Plus we got to hear the loudest bike in the known universe.
A Ducati Streetfighter with straight through exhausts by the sound of it.
It actually hurt your ears when it was near.
Wayne, 205CC 6 cylinder GP bike is THE loudest bike. If you ever get the chance to go see/hear it do!

Might do it tomorrow if I get bored! You didn't pop any wheelies or run over any grannies, so I haven't been motivated to look at the footage yet.

I was given strict instructions to behave myself and ride like on old lady, but never fear I'm sure if you look hard enough you should find a little d**king about in the footage somewhere!:smt025

I put the footage up yesterday, although there's nothing great as I filled my memory card before we got to the coast.
Man I wish I would have taped all that filtering. It was awesome.

I might have some of that mate. Looking at the vids right now. Not gonna spend too long on it. If I have some of the filtering, I'll just edit in a bit of the intro and then filtering and then upload it.

Sorry mate. Not really been on this week due to work.
Yes I have Buffalo gloves. I find the fingers fine, very comfortable in fact.
The only thing I didn't like was the thin velcro strap that went around the wrist, so I cut it off. I still use the thick velcro strap of course.
Other than that I find the gloves very good. They are summer gloves out of interest.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Wayne
