Think I'll give this one a miss, Bournemouth will be bloody packed. Not sure what others think but I definitely reckon new forest would be better, much nicer roads to rag around and plenty of overtakes :D

Or even Salisbury Plain?? :|

Salisbury plain is a bit muddy.

If i'm back over this way i'll be there! Bournemouth is only for 2 reasons-food, women. It's not far from Ringwood/Verwood and some good twistys. I'll try and pull up a google maps route, will try and get Zig Zag hill in there too 8)

I'd be up for it. I need to attend a BBQ in the afternoon, but it's in suton, so will be on the way back, plus since I actually know Bournemouth and the New Forest, I could even ride home by myself and not get lost! CHECK ME OUT!!!

I take it you guys aren't all ridden out for the weekend?

Still up for tomorrow, depending on the weather?

Mind you, there are a bunch of women saying at my house tonight who will be staying over (alas, not 16 year old busty school girls), so I may need to escape tomorrow morning to keep my sanity.

weather doesn't look too bad for tomorrow. some odd showers here and there.
i've got a route planned, seeing as we're all local going from Basingstoke is probs the best place to start from.
Meet at the McD's at Brighton Hill Retail Park say 8 am?
Spank, are you coming from Eastleigh?

Holiday Inn is usually the Basingstoke meeting spot ;)

I've chosen an easy route down there (incase i'm not out tomorrow)
Meet at McD's, follow A30. Will lead you onto A303 for a junction or 2, then it is signposted off-> Stockbridge A30
Follow it onto Salisbury. You'll come into Salisbury on the ring road, follow signs to A338 Bournemouth. Follow it all the way (you can see on the map down) to Boscombe and head to the Sea Front/Pier. There is a Harvester there. Google Map street view it and you'll should see the car park. Bike parking is in there at the top end.

McD's is in the retail park, dunno why it doesn't show on the map.

Spank86
02-06-12, 09:45 PM
Yeah, been there loads of times. It's a half hour Blatt up the road, just as easy as salisbury if not easier.
