Holy Clap Batman!

All of a sudden we got a cash buyer who wants to be in yesterday...don't panic Mr Mainwarring.

Just in from peering into other people's cupboards and not found one that grabs us. Apparently it must have a Utility, a conservatory and 2 netties. All I want is a garage.

Down side; I may miss the AR, but working on it, but even more worrying is the timing may mean missing the GM...

I want a new house, our house is not ready for sale by a country mile. :(

I've found my house, in a semi rural location, its got enough room for 6 Warrior trucks on the drive, 12 bikes in the garage(with lighting etc), plenty of BBQ space, a possible fourth bedroom.....within our budget

Hope its around when we're finally up for it ....sigh :(

Don't you just hate it when things don't quite come at the same time!

Strange in this time of recession there seems to be quite a number of cash buyers out there. A friend sold his bungalow on the day it went on the market to a guy who was into letting property. Worked very well for my friend as they then bought a new build and were able to rent their "old" home for 6 weeks until the new place was ready.

The duchess (step mother) has just sold Wilkinson Towers this week. So I have to go and rescue the useful stuff that was my fathers from the garage. A job I have put off for 10 years as it felt like grave robbing. Although my nephew was quick in to nick his snapon box/cab/tools. Again cash buyer met the asking price so whilst she still has 2 houses she could move into (assuming she evicts tennents, after all she is an evil step mother) I dread to think she might think about moving into my guest room until she can find a new place.

I guess your issue about a short term rent until the right place comes along is likely to be Bess.

Its our house in Manchester that we've finally sold... to son number3. We've been renting back in Redcar for over 3 years now - mortgage and rent has been a killer.

Its the boss that's telling me we need to buy NOW! And the son that wants to buy NOW so he can rip it to bits.

Needing to move can be very stressful, a few years ago we had to be out of our house by a certain date because it was going to be demolished. I have never seen so many houses that I could not imagine living in, DJ left me to house hunt whilst he manned the office, truly the most depressing few months of my life. When I found this house I walked in the door, loved it so much I put an offer in before he had even seen it (he had not even seen the Estate Agent's details). He only got to see it after we were gazumped and then had our offer accepted (long story not required here). We have now lived here for four years, we moved in very aptly on April Fools day, and it is the best home ever.

Urgh, house hunting...I fart in its general direction...talk about losing the will to live! Don't envy you that job Bri, hope it's as painless as possible for you!

So, let 'the Boss' do the spade work on this!
Any ideas where?

The boss is doing the spade work... she's just cut the grass back and front, and about to start on the hedge.

The where is somewhere close to her mum. Her mum has Alzheimer's and needs a lot of looking after.

Once she's gone, we'll be moving again to somewhere like York/Malton/Easingwold. Could be next month, or 5yrs away.

Funny how 'the boss' does the spade work. I've been laying flags, weeding, grouting, and no doubt be doing the hedges too....... You men get it easy!

Ps glad Chris asked what a netty was the other night, was going to ask.my self but thought some other thick bugger could ask instead! :)

Well Im due to move sometime in the next 6-12 months. Off to the south coast, Ramsgate area. So far we have one house. Well not on the market as yet but we have first refusal on it. Also paying cash no **** just get the right bits done before I part with the money.

Wehn we bought our first place 10 years ago I didnt get stressed once. Apart from the retards at the estate agents sending all out stuff to the WRONG solicitors!!!!

And when it comes to selling I'll be telling them what happends and when. Make sure they work for there 1 or 2% they want.
