I'm flying on friday morning early, anyone know of any cheap way I can leave the van? (nowhere to put bike kit)

Seen a few places online but they're wanting £20 which seems steep for 48 hours and 2 bus rides!

£20.00 doesn't seem to bad to me, but then I only end up using Gatwick and Heathrow where it costs more to park the car than the flight costs.

That's almost 2 hours worth of bitter...

Dave are you on about just a normal pay and display car park there?

could always take the train to Liverpool Parkway South rail station instead. £20 doesn't sound bad to be honest for 2 days parking.

We,ve left the car at liverpool airport a number of time without any probs, its not a massive airport and youre no more than a 5 minute walk even from the furthest extremes of the car park, I'm away this weeknd otherwise you could have left it at mine and Id have run you over, time you flying ?

0630 Friday, land 2350 Saturday.

Is it just a case of turning up and buying a ticket then or do you need to book?

(sorry 4 wheeled malarky still a bit new to me!)

just checked online if you pre book its 22.99 for the parking within the terminal grounds, slightly more expensive than the 20 you said but at least you wouldnt have to catch busses early in morning!!!!

I'd advise leaving it at the airport

Now, now - I was being sarcy ;)

At the end of the day like stewie mentioned leave it at a friends or relatives or somebody to take you and pick you up and throw them in some petrol money. Surely it would be better than paying that for 48 hours and you'd feel safer about it.

I was worried about leaving it at the airport with a 205l barrel in the back... was half expecting to come back to a van blasted to bits, an otherwise empty car park and some awkward questions to answer!!
