Saw Slash last night at Hammersmith. He was splendid. So we asked if he'd like to come to Essex this weekend. Once he heard there was cake and a paddling pool he said sure but he'd need to cancel another unimportant appointment but that was fine, and could he bring some friends along, Jim, Lars, Kirk, Bob, Chris, Kim, Matt and Ben. I said this would be fine as long as Chris didn't mind sharing my very small tent.
