er6 race bike

hey guys

can anyone tell me how this works...

basically i need to know if a 2006 er6 race bike with a 2010 er6 engine in it is classed as a 2010 machine for it to be eligible for an international meeting?
or does it both have to be the same year... chassis & engine both 2010 for example...

just need to know, seen as the bikes are only allowed to be 5 years old in international races... according to FIM rules

What class?

From my understanding its frame, or that was the understanding with the TT this year.

supertwin class mate

basically got a 2006 er6 minitwin and a mate of mine wants to know if he sticks a 2010 engine in it, can it be used in the nw200 or the TT

will it be classed as a 2010 bike or still a 2006 bike?

2006 bike. It goes on frame number not motor.
