:rolleyes: Okay let me explain, I'd almost finished redecorating my eldest boys 'new' bedroom when I spotted a leak on the stop valve on the radiator. I had to drain down the system to replace it. I turned off the supply & went into the loft to bung the header but tripped and ended up with my leg through the celling.

The wife wasn't quick enough to get a snap of my leg hanging down but promptly took a pic of the aftermath and posted it on Facebook so I thought, in for a penny...

I could try blaming the lack of sleep or some rubbish about the planets being in alignment but basically I didn't look where i was walking & tripped over a rafter.

I've since been to B&Q and re-boarded it and will attempt to match the crappy artex pattern some time tomorrow.

Come on you D.I.Y.ers be honest, know you've all done it or at least an equivalent (e.g. nail in pipe, dropped a cylinder head through coffee table).

Bad luck on that one but at least it was just your leg through and presumably you're none the worse for wear, I've not done that yet but I'm sure I will at some point.

I have drilled through two electric cables a radiator and a water pipe of it helps you feel better. All In the line of work, (and not using a cable tracker).
