Front fairing frame material?

So about a year ago i came off the SV after hitting some gravel at about 20mph. Anyway the front fairing frame was bent in on the right hand side which i managed to bend back in place. I didn't realise how weak the bend had made it and after a year of folding my mirrors in and out to get in the garden, the right hand side of the frame has finally snapped (not good).

My question is, is the fairing frame steel or aluminium?
