Tonight I achieved a longstanding ambition: I got DP along to a cricket match at the Home of Cricket and what's more, he had a good time.
They played on through the rain, under lights, and Middlesex got spanked by Surrey, I explained the Duckworth Lewis method badly and we drank a lot of tea while sheltering in the media centre. And despite all that he didn't moan it was boring at all.
Next he'll be wearing pink chinos, a blazer and drinking Pimm's.
i'm just looking out the window to see if there is a blue moon...
I like spreading wild rumours about the big man as much as the next guy, but thats taking it too far :smt009
Special Forces is our DP, he'll fit in anywhere in any situation ;0)
don't know about forces but i do know he is 'special'

well dave has not defended himself as we have just got back and had food and not seen the things that are being aimed at him and possibly because he is above such thngs now that he has gone to join the nobler folk lol:)
was there he has watched a match we even managed to get through londen traffic on our own in the dark, not getting lost once.
Had a good evening but i think the fact that there were dancing girls with pom poms too that helped the interesting points!!!
Going to lords and watchng the cricket has made our holiday that bit more interesting that we origionally thaught.

No, I said Home of Cricket, not a large post box. Though I've threatened to take him to a match up there too.
