This doesn't bode well for the rest of the week.
Thought I had a little more energy than normal this morning considering its a Monday but I think I peaked shortly after my commute

Anyone else or did everyone have a good weekend and come back to work refreshed following a restful fathers day? :smt030

My weekend was pretty poop!
Friday night I went pub and felt sick afterwards, Saturday it was raining bloody murder so I couldn't go out on bike and Sunday consisted of me playing Sonic Adventures..

I've had better weekends!

Depression and ambivalence all round, then some new dive kit arrived and chance to use it midweek so all is well...

Did not want to wake up after fathers day. Was nice to be loked after (more than usual) after a miserable day weather-wise on Saturday. And I was allowed to hold the remote while I demolished some wine, very rare!

Of course my reluctance to get up may also have been the prospect of travelling to Bratislava with work. Not recommended...

Had a good weekend actually. Saturday was my brother-in-law's wedding (third, but here's hoping) and they threw a fantastic party. My Fathers Day present (apart from the Daniel Craig version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo DVD which I must watch this weekend) was the boys let me and Mrs go out for a lovely long ride without them. We picked up FIL, rode round West Sussex for a couple of hours, stopped at Whiteways for a well deserved coffee and then home. Lovely!

Today was a good day for me, set me up for the week. Bike got some new discs, pads, headlight bulbs and a service over the weekend. Heard good news on my current PPI claim, currently investigating it and shouldn't be too much longer. Soon as it comes thorugh i think it's new bike time!

If they tell me their favourite game is Zelda (either ocarina of time or twilight princess) your sons are cool!

no that was the wife. they are more trading cards and D&D with frequent visits to their little geeky place where all the other outcast kids hang out to play card games and D&D.

Then your wife is immensely cool!

Ocarina of Time :)
played that to death round my mates house when it came out.

I've contemplated getting a neintendo of some sort just to play them, didnt they release the whole back catalogue on one system?

If you buy a N64 you can play it on that but on the GameCube you can buy the Super Mario Game which includes a special disc which has the original Zeldas, Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask.

I Bought the limited edition Ocarina of time which included Wind waker and the Ocarina of Time Master Quest (a bit harder)
I bought twilight princess as well which is my 2nd favourite.

The one part in Wind Waker that made me chuckle is right at beginning when you're on the island and that snotty kid follows you.
Other than that, I wasn't really a fan. It was a good game but it wasn't really 'Zelda' for me.

The only games I recall playing on Gameboy (this was when I was about 7-8) is Pokemon, tetris and mario.
I remember getting a Gameboy colour for Christmas years ago and I was so happy. This year I got the new Xbox slim and I was just like.. My life is over.

Minish cap was on the gamboy after the colour one - can't remember what it was called, had the flip up lid. I played it on my DS.

Which version on mariokart do you favour then? You can't be into the original, I'm guessing you're a doubledash girl

I think their was the original (which I had) the the colour, then the advance and then the SP and then the DS series.
I had every one but I don't have the first 3 anymore!

And I didn't play mario cart screw that! I played super mario bros! I had a few games for the SP as well like Spyro and Zelda. But I was only young at time so I wasn't that interested but I may buy a old Gameboy again! :')

They do a awesome shop in Manchester in Afflecks Palace and they have every single retro game, consoles, figurines and alsorts.
Makes it even better they have a comic store next to it and sell all kinds of things they had a HUGE Chewbacca teddy and I so wanted it!

Bit of a hike all the way up there, although I think theres a place like that in southampto, they certainly had a lot of random fantasy stuff when I was passing by one time.

Don't get me wrong, I like mario cart but if it was a choice between Super Mario Bros and Mario cart, I'd pick SMB :)

It's not pants! It's cool! I remember I bought one of them lenses that fold over it that magnify the screen and had lights on it.. The good old days!

Best thing I found a while ago was a SNES emulator for android that you could bluetooth your Wii controller to. That is a nice invention.
